We at MIKE GAST Lawn Care, Inc. stand for expertise, creativity and many years of experience. We strive to protect the environment and use only eco-friendly materials.

 

Owner Mike Gast and several employees make up the team at MIKE GAST Lawn Care, Inc.. We have a master gardener, specialists and an apprentice; we also have interns on a steady basis and we work with several smaller businesses.

Mike Gast 

Mike started mowing lawns as G-Force on Eastbrook Drive where he lived in Sarasota in 1979.  Yes, he was only 10 years old!  Soon Mike and his younger brother were mowing most of the 37 lawns on Eastbrook.  He continued while at Riverview High School while playing soccer and playing trumpet and leading the Riverview High Kiltie Band as Captain.  Upon graduation in 1987 he went to Stetson University in Deland, FL were he majored in physics.  While at Stetson he also headed up the mens residence halls.  Mike considered "real" jobs upon graduation but found that he really liked plants.  So when his brother went to college Mike continued with G-Force, whose name was changed to MIKE GAST LAWN CARE, Inc.

Today Mike is the sole owner and President of MIKE GAST Lawn Care, Inc.

Stephanie

When you call between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM you will have the real boss answering the phone!

Stephanie keeps the office together and makes sure you get what you want. 

She graduated from Riverview High in 1991.

She has a 2nd grade son Austin who along with her dog Sookie are a big part of her life. (She also likes her husband)

 

 

Adrian Douglas

Adrian has worked with MIKE GAST Lawn Care longer than anyone.  Along with Mike, he has seen it all and done it all.  He is our primary problem solver that often Stephanie will send out to your property to solve your problem or improve our service.  Adrian is fasinated with lighthouses, and plans to see all of them in Florida.

 

Sam Spano

All of you in Lakewood Ranch have met Sam.  He is our primary sales person who also lives in LWR with his daughter and wife.

Sam will be the one who will probably be giving you your quote for residential service and assessing your initial needs.

Kelly Belval

Kelly is the guy who transforms your dull drabby landscapes to a wow of beauty.  He heads up the landscape division to help Mike design and implement great new landscapes including low voltage lighting.

Brian Rhoades

Brian will make your water better, he is our irrigation specialist.

Manuel Torres

Manuel and his helper who is usually Tomas, will be by your property to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.  Manuel is usually rather quiet until you ask about his two kids.
